International Student Admission

威尼斯人娱乐城 welcomes international students and offers a personal, supportive learning environment. International students seeking admission must provide the following:

  • Verification Documents - To Be Submitted After Appointment

    • Proof of completing a 高中 diploma or equivalent
    • Proof of age verified with a photocopy of the identification page of your current passport (international students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment)
    • 官方成绩单 from all previous 高中s, colleges, or universities (transcripts must be in English, and on the official letterhead/stationary of the school)
    • International Student Financial Statement Form - Provided following appointment
      • This must be accompanied by an original, current bank statement with a balance equal to the cost of one year of tuition, fees, and living expenses (funds must be translated into U.S. 货币).
    • Evidence of English language proficiency. Applicants coming from a country whose official language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency by meeting one of the following requirements:
      • An official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 61 on the Internet-Based Test (iBT), at least 173 on the computer-based test (CBT), or at least 500 on the Paper-Based Test (PBT)
      • A score of at least 6 on the International English Language testing System (IELTS)

      • Completion of an ESL (English as a Second Language) Program.

Once the documents stated above have been received, verified, and approved, an I-20 将生成.

        • A working camera on your computer for monitoring during the test

  • Before Arrival In the United States
    • First Term Course 登记 - To be done with PDSO or DSO
    • Additional Bank Statements - If student's documents were verified earlier than three months before the start of the term, another bank statement from same institution(s) must be provided
       
  • Upon Arrival in the United States
    • 与PDSO -会面 Review documents and courses scheduled
      • Signing of the PDSO's copy of the I-20 for college's records
    • Attend Fall 新生迎新
      • Winter and Spring students must attend if offered.

Documents in Foreign Languages

All records in a foreign language must include the originals accompanied by an English 翻译. When all of the above forms and required information is received by the 招生 Office, the applicant will then be considered for admission (an I-20 form will not be issued to any individual until all required information has been received and approved by the 招生 Office). All students must enroll by the last scheduled day of registration of each term. Foreign students must register for 12 credits or more to be certified on the I-20 form.

Countries and Territories Exempt from English Language Proficiency Requirement

These countries and territories below currently list English as their defacto or official language and are exempt from additional foreign language requirements. 学生必须 still take the Accuplacer test for course registration.
